Facelift
Facelift surgery is an ideal way to rejuvenate your look, giving you a fresher, more youthful face, brow and neck. With the exciting new techniques and advances, face and neck lifts are becoming increasingly popular with men and women in their 30's and up.
With these recent advances in facelift surgery, today's facelift is much more than just tightening loose skin. By tightening both the skin and underlying structures, a facelift can lessen and eliminate wrinkles and restore the younger natural contours of your face.
Depending on the specific problem areas, the degree of loose skin, the deep or fine wrinkles, and jowls present, the patient can decide how extensive a facelift they are comfortable with. It is also very common to tailor the procedure to the desires of the individual patient. For example, some possibilities include improving the eyelids or chin at the same time, or using a dermal filler in the mouth area, lips or forehead during the procedure.
During the traditional facelift, incisions are carefully hidden in the scalp and around the ear, the skin is freed so the underlying tissue can be lifted, and the extra skin is removed. Most people are encouraged to pamper themselves for 1 - 2 weeks after surgery. During that time, most of the swelling and bruising resolves and all the sutures are removed.

Contour ThreadLift TM
Dr. White is specially trained and excited to offer his patients the new, minimally invasive Contour ThreadLift TM . This facial rejuvenation procedure is targeted toward the younger person who is not quite ready for the traditional facelift or for someone desiring a subtle improvement in their eyelids, cheeks, jowls, or neck. It is also recommended for the patient that has had a traditional facelift but now has relaxation of the skin in the midface and neck.
During a Contour Threads procedure, small nicks are made in the scalp area so the special barbed thread can be anchored under the skin to lift the face, neck or brow. Most patients experience slight bruising and swelling and are encouraged to restrict activities for 1 - 2 weeks. As with the traditional facelift, other procedures can be done in conjunction, such as Botox ® , dermal fillers, and other cosmetic enhancements.
